Marriage Evidence

Privacy & Security

Last updated October 5, 2026

Marriage Evidence is operated by Rubin Immigration LLC and is designed for sensitive relationship evidence. This page explains what information the product handles, why it is used, and the main safeguards built into the service.

What we store

Depending on how you use the product, a project may contain uploaded photos, event titles, dates, locations, additional context, document-format settings, collaborator information, and the email address used to save or purchase the project.

How your information is used

Your project information is used to provide the Marriage Evidence product, including saving and loading your project, spouse collaboration, generating previews and exports, returning to a saved project, and processing purchases.

Your private evidence is not sold, is not used to target advertising, and is not used to train AI models.

Photo metadata

When available, the browser can read embedded photo metadata such as capture date, orientation, and GPS coordinates. Raw GPS coordinates are used only for the optional city-level reverse-geocoding lookup and are not stored in the Marriage Evidence project. The resulting human-readable location may be stored if it is added to the photo.

Storage and access

Uploaded photos are stored in a private storage bucket. Access is limited to authenticated members of the relevant project, and browser photo access uses time-limited signed URLs. Project data is protected with row-level access controls.

Spouse collaboration

If you invite your spouse, they can access and edit the shared project according to the collaboration features available in the product. Project owners can revoke spouse access.

Service providers

Marriage Evidence uses service providers to operate the product. These currently include Supabase for application data, authentication, storage, and realtime collaboration; Vercel for application hosting; Stripe for payment processing; Resend for transactional email; Geoapify for city-level reverse geocoding when a photo contains usable GPS metadata; Google Photos and Google Drive when you choose those import options; Dropbox when you choose Dropbox import; jsDelivr to load the PDF preview library in your browser; and Sentry for production error monitoring.

Google Photos and Google Drive imports

If you choose Google Photos or Google Drive as an import source, Marriage Evidence requests only the Google permissions needed for you to select specific photos for that import. For Google Drive, the app uses Google Picker with per-file access so it can read only files you explicitly choose. For Google Photos, the app uses the Google Photos Picker so it can access only media items you explicitly select in that picker session.

Selected photos are copied into your private Marriage Evidence project and then handled under the same storage, access, retention, and deletion rules described on this page. Marriage Evidence does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google user data to train AI models.

Marriage Evidence does not intentionally retain Google OAuth access tokens after the browser session or retain temporary Google Photos picker links after the import flow is complete. Google access is used only to provide the user-requested import functionality.

Marriage Evidence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Payments

Payment-card information is handled by Stripe's checkout flow. Marriage Evidence does not store your full card number.

Product analytics

Marriage Evidence records a limited set of product-usage information to understand whether the service is working well. Homepage activity is stored as aggregate counts. For project workflow analysis, Marriage Evidence may store milestone timestamps such as project creation, first photo added, Preview reached, checkout started, purchase or promotional unlock, first export, spouse collaboration, return use, and coarse device or acquisition categories. The project analytics record does not store names, email addresses, filenames, captions, event titles, locations, photo contents, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints. While a project exists, a random project identifier may link its operational status to the corresponding project. If the project is deleted, that link is removed while non-identifying analytics milestones may remain.

Administrative access and project status

Authorized Marriage Evidence administrators may access limited account and project metadata needed to operate and support the service. This can include the email address associated with a saved or purchased project, project status, creation and recent-activity dates, payment status, photo count, and whether major workflow steps have been completed. Administrative project-status tools are designed not to display uploaded photographs, filenames, captions, event descriptions, locations, or other relationship-evidence content. Access to identifiable administrative project information is restricted to authorized administrators.

Error monitoring

Marriage Evidence uses Sentry to identify production software errors. The application is configured to minimize diagnostic data sent to Sentry: default personally identifiable information is disabled; Session Replay, User Feedback, profiling, tracing, and application breadcrumbs are not enabled; and request bodies, headers, cookies, user records, extra context, query strings, email addresses, project identifiers, and UUIDs are removed or redacted before error events are sent. Marriage Evidence does not intentionally send uploaded photos or relationship-evidence fields to Sentry. Sentry is also configured to apply data scrubbing and prevent storage of IP addresses.

Saved and anonymous projects

Anonymous projects are temporary. While you are actively editing an anonymous project, its expiration is refreshed; if there is no further activity, the project is automatically deleted after 72 hours.

If you choose Save for later, the project is linked to your email and retained for 90 days from the date you save it. After that 90-day period, the saved project and its uploaded evidence are automatically deleted unless the project has been purchased. Paid project data is retained while needed to provide continuing project access and does not have a routine expiration date while Marriage Evidence continues to operate the service. If project hosting is discontinued, paid project data may be deleted after the notice period described in the Terms of Service.

If an unpaid saved project is no longer open on any browser or device and you cannot remember the email address used to save it, we cannot recover the project. This limitation reduces the risk of private relationship evidence being disclosed through weak account-recovery questions.

Deleting your data

Project owners can use Delete all data from the project menu. That action is intended to permanently remove the project's uploaded evidence and related project data.

Security

Marriage Evidence uses encrypted HTTPS connections, private storage, authenticated project access, server-side secrets for privileged operations, and time-limited access links where appropriate. To limit automated abuse, the service may temporarily keep one-way-derived request identifiers used only for rate limiting; raw IP addresses are not stored in those rate-limit records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect access to their email and devices.
